Sunday School

2 year olds have their own curriculum for spiritual growth which we call "faith play". They begin to learn faith through loving adults to teach them trust, to recognize the Bible as a special book, through hearing teachers and parents talking about God and praying.

3 and 4 year olds are able to begin learning simple prayers, to understand the need to give their offerings to God, to appreciate and care for God's world.

5yrs/1st graders are able to begin to learn simple verses, to repeat the Lord's Prayer, to understand the need to particpate in corporate worship, to pray their own prayers, and to understand that God expects us to love everyone.

2nd through 5th graders participate in exciting, creative, kid-friendly approach to Sunday School that is designed to teach faith and Bible stories in multi-dimensional ways. Children approach a Bible theme in a different worship each week for 5 weeks. They may learn through drama, puppetry, cooking, art, games, science, computers, music or more.

6th Graders have their own cool room and take a more in-depth look at the Bible as they prepare for Confirmation in the Spring.

Meets Sunday from 9:45 to 10:45.
