Family Promise

The purpose of this ministry is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.

Christ Church is one of 13 local member congregations that house families one week a quarter.

Disciples are needed to unload cots, to set up Sunday school classrooms to house families, to transport families to and from the Conroe Day Center, to cook, serve and eat meals, to host in the evening, to host overnight, to return Sunday class rooms to their original condition, to load cots and transport them to the next church, and to host at the Conroe Day Center on the Sunday afternoon of their departure.
