The construction crew has been busy this week. Today the fellowship hall has all new doors,trim and shutters and an exterior paint job. Gary was an expert mole and repaired a kitchen vent in the attic.
The VBS children enjoyed a day of water play, water balloons, and sliding down the hill.

Christ Church Brothers and Sisters… Greetings from your Oklahoma Mission Team; twenty-three strong. We arrived in record time to Anadarko, Oklahoma and are set up at the Native American Oklahoma Methodist Conference Center. “Tent City” and dinner was cooked before our first “unexpected incident” ensued.

Today was our last day of VBS. The kids did all their normal VBS activities including songs, craft, bible story, and science experiment, but the final activity was really what they were all waiting for - SPLASH DAY!

The construction crew left even earlier today (before 6am) so they could get even more cool time to work.

The guys headed out early for another day of roofing and kitchen construction at the church. The VBS team followed about an hour later, and spent a short time decorating and setting up before the children arrived.

We started the day together with breakfast and a morning devotional provided by Eric Japp. His scripture choice was James Chapter 3, and he encouraged us to focus on serving each other and carefully choose our words to encourage each other during the week.
