Most of us got up around 8 am, ate a quick breakfast, and packed up our tents and belongings. We then cleaned up the Conference Center, and left for the church. We all checked out the newly decked roof and the new, bigger kitchen with three ovens and vents, stainless steel sink and table, and new serving area with beautiful cabinets! We picked up our remaining tools, and cleaned up a bit. The shingle hoist was loaded on Richard's trailer for drop-off at the rental facility in Lawton. We took a few pictures, then each family headed toward home. We decided not to caravan back to allow each family to travel on their own schedule.
Needless to say, we were all tired; however, the relationships that were formed were bound by love through a common faith in God, and that made it all worth while. Even though we left behind a building with a new roof and kitchen, I believe our team probably got the better end of the deal, experiencing God every step of the way. Truly, I believe we would all agree that :
God is Good, all the time, and All the time, God is Good.
