Homeward Bound

Most of us got up around 8 am, ate a quick breakfast, and packed up our tents and belongings.

Projects Complete!

Today was the last work day, and there were two major projects to finish.

Last Day of VBS

Today was our last day of VBS. The kids did all their normal VBS activities including songs, craft, bible story, and science experiment, but the final activity was really what they were all waiting for - SPLASH DAY!

The Best Day Yet

The construction crew left even earlier today (before 6am) so they could get even more cool time to work.

First Day of VBS

The guys headed out early for another day of roofing and kitchen construction at the church. The VBS team followed about an hour later, and spent a short time decorating and setting up before the children arrived.

Construction Begins

The guys set out early for the church this morning to begin work on the Fellowship Hall roof and kitchen.

Our Day of Rest

We started the day together with breakfast and a morning devotional provided by Eric Japp. His scripture choice was James Chapter 3, and he encouraged us to focus on serving each other and carefully choose our words to encourage each other during the week.

We're Off! The 2010 Oklahoma Mission Team Departs

After packing, rearranging, and squeezing two large trailers and six vehicles with construction equipment, VBS supplies (the easy part) and kids (the hard part), the trailers and trunks were closed, the team threw down a few donuts and kolaches, then circled up for a send-off prayer led by Chris.
