Children's Ministry

Sunday School
We have Sunday School classes at 9:45 a.m. for every child ages 2 and up.

Early Risers
Multi-age Sunday School program at 8:30 a.m. for children ages 4 through 2nd grade

Nursery
Our nursery is available for all services Sunday morning and by reservation during the week for other events.

SONShine Land
A Sunday faith play curriculum for preschoolers (ages 2-4) held during the 11:00 service.

SHINE
Kids church at 11:00 a.m. for children ages 5 to 2nd grade.

1st - 4th Sunday School
Fun and interactive Sunday School for children 1st - 4th grade at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday. A Bible truth taught through creative, engaging curriculum allowing children to better understand Christ. Children changing activities every week.
Meets Sunday from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m..

5th / 6th Grade Sunday School
Group discussion at 9:45 a.m. using the Bible to teach Bible truths while relating it to day to day experiences the children encounter.

Shadow Pals
Sunday morning pals for children with special needs which allows children to be active within programs with a partner to help them. This ministry helps children with special needs, separation anxiety and medical concerns.

Confirmation Class
6th grade students meet weekly during the Spring to gain knowledge about being a Christian, their own relationship with Christ and the Methodist Church.

Parent's Night Out
Parents can drop off their kids for a little kid-less time, while the kids have a ton of fun. Offered the 2nd Friday of every month.

Creative Fun Night
First Friday night of each month from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.  This event is for kids 2 years and older.  Kindergarten and older may be dropped off, younger children are welcome with parent's staying to play as well.  FREE event.

Family Fun Night
Come play games and have dinner in the CLC with other kids and parents. Great casual environment to gather together.

Children's Choir
Children's choir is offered for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade through both singing and learning to play instruments like Kristal Bells, Chimes and Boomwackers.

T.G.I.F.
Get together with other Moms for fellowship, Bible study and guest speakers.

Special Events / Retreats and Camps
Quarterly events are planned to further participation and knowledge of God, age appropriate activities are planned.

The Climbing Tree

Christ Church Preschool
Christ Church Preschool is a ministry of CCUM, established to offer a faith based preschool program to meet the needs of our community. Please visit www.cc-preschool.org for more information.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is held each year at CCUM in June for children 3 years old to 6th grade.
