Yesterday, we traveled from Houston to Newark, from Newark to Tel Aviv. We arrived safely in Tel Aviv after a long 14 hour flight. Timewise, we are 8 hours ahead of Houston time. Our first night we are staying at the Hotel Daniel…….what else! We checked in and had a wonderful meal catered just for us.
We are slowly beginning to learn about one another. I asked what their expectations were for the trip now that we are here. Some replies were:
· I am looking forward to learning more about the Bible
· To experience and see the places I have read about
· Seeing the land of Jesus.
We are all very excited about the trip The tour actually begins early Tuesday morning with our journey from Tel Aviv to the Sea of Galilee, with all the biblical sights along the way.
