On the first Thursday of every month a team from Christ Church prepares and serves 100-125 hot lunches to needy families and individuals at the Conroe Salvation Army.
PACN provides crisis pregnancy assistance, healing and life rebuilding training for expecting mothers and families. Christ Church supports this ministry by hosting volunteer training and participating in fundraisers.
The Augustine Project mission is to improve the reading, writing and spelling abilities of low-income children and teens who struggle with literacy skills. The project trains and supports volunteer tutors who provide free, long term, 1-to-1 instruction.
Family Promise helps homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence by providing lodging, volunteers, social service agencies for assessment and referrals, and facilities for day programs.
Christ Church assists Interfaith in feeding local citizens. Groceries are collected for Interfaith on the first Sunday of every odd month. See the Interfaith Web Site for a flyer with current needs.
Each year Christ Church participates in Interfaith's drive to provide school supplies for children and students in need. This drive occurs annually during the month of July.
Each year before Christmas Christ Church supports Interfaith's program to provide Christmas presents to needy families and seniors.
The Christ Church Prison Ministries serve those who are incarcerated in the Hightower Prison Unit in Dayton, Texas. Our purpose is to be the hands and feet of Christ by loving our 'brothers in white' and providing them with spiritual support.
Do you love meeting and greeting new people? Do you have a knack for making people feel welcome? We need disciples to treat our guests with radical hospitality! There are many opportunities, including greeters, ushers, 'muggers', manning the Welcome Center, food preparation for events, and more.
Reach out to new members and those who are not yet connected to the life of the church. Help members get connected to our church community.
Reach out to other members in their time of need. Provide transportation, meals, childcare, or a visit when a need arises. Be part of our prayer shawl ministry, our care partners team, or receive prayers requests via email and pray for others via our prayer chain.
Do you like to perform administrative tasks? We have needs for volunteers to perform data entry, keep the library organized, count money, and assist with mailings and other ministry preparations. If you are an IT or professional or Web 'Guru', join our Technology Team.
Help us prepare our campus for ministry. Volunteers assist with building maintenance, landscaping, set-up/tear-down, laundering table cloths, and general cleaning,
Help other adults grow in their faith by leading a small group, teaching a bible study, or organizing a retreat or activities for adults.

This team of adults receives periodic updates from the Student Ministry regarding needs: food, drivers, or extra hands to help with an activity. Contact Leanne Donaldson to be a part of this team.
Christ Church holds a number of events throughout the year to support our ministries and needs planners and doers! Examples of these events include the Pumpkin Patch, the Woodlands Market & Fair, Golf Tournaments, June Bug Sale.
Members of the Mission Support Team receive emails for special opportunities to support our missions. Each year we raise funds for missions through preparing and selling briskets, turkeys, Costa Rica coffee, and through our Dollars for Missions during Worship.
The Costa Rica Mission Team serves Christ by offering Him to the Tico people. The team serves by building relationships with the local people while working on construction projects and holding Vacation Bible School for the children.
The Oklahoma Mission Team serves Indian families in and near the communities of Apache and Anadarko. The team is made up of families and individuals and works on construction projects and holds Vacation Bible School for the children.
The Mexico Mission Trip Team serves Christ in Mexico, offering him to the children at the Albergue in Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. In 2012 we will not be sending a team but will continue to support the Plain Gospel Mission - the missionaries who operate the Albergue.
At Christmas, our congregation provides support to the mission by purchasing gifts for children and staff residing at the Albergue during our Adopt-A-Student program.
The Persecuted Church Ministry at Christ Church is a local team affiliated with Open Doors, a ministry devoted to providing support to persecuted Christians around the world. The team write letters and lifts prayers for persecuted Christians.
