MONDAY EVENING

Alpha is a 12-week course on the basics of the Christian faith. Each week begins with coffee and fellowship. The evening includes a video presentation and ends with an opportunity for discussion.
 
Alpha is free and there is no homework! This class meets on Monday evenings 7:00-8:15 p.m. in the Covenant Chapel, beginning Feb.4, 2019.
Dr. Marc Donaldson will be the group facilitator.
 
Please note that there is one special Friday meeting time on March 29, 6:00-9:00 p.m. and the group will not meet on March 11 (Spring Break).
 

TUESDAY MORNING

Tuesday Morning Men’s Group | Tuesday, 6:30 am-7:30 am.
 
This study is an ongoing study, Tuesday, 6:30 am-7:30 am.  Meets in the CLC Gym/Kitchen for breakfast, then fellowship & study.
 
 No Cost – just bring your Bible.
 
Tuesday Morning Bible Study – Gospel of Luke |Tuesdays, 9:30-11:00 am. 
 
This group takes the summers off, but otherwise they meet every Tuesday morning, 9:30-11:00 am. for friendship, fellowship and Jesus!
 

The Gospel of Luke study begins Tuesday, 1/15/19, in ROOM S114. The group facilitator is Pamela McIntyre. 

This study is Bible-based, so there is no book to purchase. Just bring your Bible!

Disciple Fast Track – New Testament | Wednesdays, 6:15 – 7:30 p.m.
 
This 12-week study immerses the participant in the New Testament.

This class meets in the Conference Room. Dr. Dan Hannon is the group facilitator. Classes begin on Feb. 6, 2019, and end on May 8, 2019. The group will not meet on March 6 (Ash Wednesday).

The cost of the participant’s book is $17.
 
Believing God | Wednesdays, 6-7:45 pm
 
Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith by Beth Moore is based on Isaiah 43:10 and explores what it means not only “to believe in God” but “to believe Him” through the study of the lives of Abraham, Moses, and others. This 10-week study includes videos and a personal study guide.
 
This class meets on Wednesdays 6-7:45 pm in room S112 beginning 1/16/19 and ending 4/10/19. [Group will not meet on 2/13, 3/6 and 4/3.]
Sue Teal is the group leader for this study. Books cost $16 and you can pay Sue for them.
 
Experiencing God | Wednesdays, 7-8:15 p.m
 
Experiencing God – Knowing and Doing the Will of God, based on the book by Henry Blackaby.  Through examination of biblical and contemporary illustrations in this class, participants will understand and apply seven realities of experiencing God in their lives.
 
This class meets on Wednesdays, 7-8:15 p.m., in room S115. The group facilitator is Dennis Hallaron. Classes will begin on Feb. 6, 2019 and end on May 8, 2018.
 
The group will not meet on March 6 (Ash Wed.) or March 13 (spring break).
Cost of the participant’s book is $20.
 

THURSDAY MORNING

Crossing the Waters (Women’s group) | Thursdays, 9:15 – 11:15 a.m.

Crossing the Waters by Leslie Leyland Fields. In this study you will be following Jesus through the storms, the fish, the doubt, and the seas for a fresh encounter with the gospels and what it means to “come, follow me.”
 
This women’s Bible study meets on Thursdays, 9:15 – 11:15 a.m., in room S111. Lisa Moncrief is the group facilitator. Classes will begin on Jan. 17, 2019, and end on April 11, 2019.
 
Participants need to purchase their own books. They are available on Amazon for $10.97 or from other sources.
 
The BLAST (Women’s group) | Thursday morning, 9:30-11:00 am.

This group is open to all women! This group is an ongoing group.
They meet every Thursday morning, 9:30-11:00 am.
 

The topic changes every 6 -12 weeks based on the group’s decision.
