PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

A New Direction

Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. – Psalm 25:4-5 NIV

Father in heaven, You see all that takes place in my life. Knowing this gives me peace as I face this transition. Remove the blinders from my physical and spiritual eyes, Lord. Open my eyes to the wonders of every turn, tangent, and seeming detour I encounter. As I face a new direction, I am eager to see what You have in store for me with this new opportunity. Show me the way, Lord. Amen.

God’s Blessings

May God give you of heaven’s dew and of earth’s richness—an abundance of grain and new wine. – Genesis 27:28 NIV

I have had my share of goodness, Lord. I need only to look at my immediate surroundings and the people in my life to see how richly I have been blessed. Why do I pay such close attention to the imperfections of my life? Lord, open my eyes to the good in all situations. Let the times of difficulty I experience cause me to embrace the richness of Your bounty. Help me to be aware of the manna that falls from heaven and lands in my life. Thank You for blessings! Amen.
