PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Wisdom Breeds Hope

So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. – Proverbs 14:14 KJV

You, O Lord, give me hope for the future. Your presence fills me. I seek Your wisdom to renew my spirit and help me face the challenges of this life. I have great expectations. I believe that You are working in my life and good things await me today. May I further the plans for Your kingdom as You lead me through this life and time. Amen.

Thirsty

“For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children.” – Isaiah 44:3 NLT   Lord, I am thirsty, parched with the demands of this world. I am in want in so many ways. Help me not to focus on what I don’t have, but to focus on You and the blessings that You have prepared for me and my children. Pour out Your Spirit upon me now. Fill me with Your presence. Give me hope for this day. I anticipate blessings waiting around every corner. Thank You, Lord. Amen.   [from Prayers with Purpose by Donna Maltese]
