PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

One-Touch Healing

For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. – Matthew 9:21 KJV

Dear God, I am reaching out my hand to You this morning, knowing that if I can just touch the hem of Your garment, You will make me whole. I envision You before me. I see the compassion in Your eyes. I know that You love me and that nothing is impossible for You. Fill me with Your love. Give me Your healing touch this morning. Amen.

Living Sacrifice

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. – Romans 12:1 NIV

Here I am, Lord, lifting myself up to You this morning. I want to serve You. I live to please You, for I love You with all my strength, soul, mind, heart, and body. I dedicate myself, my time, and my service to You. Show me the path You want me to take. Amen.
