PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Contentment

I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content. – Philippians 4:11 KJV

Lord, there is nothing better than being in your presence, seeking Your face. I thank You for all my blessings, in good times and bad. I thank You for Your Son, who died on the cross so that I could live forever. I thank You for Your Word and the treasures I find there. I go forth in this day, with the power of contentment firmly in my heart. Lead me where You will. I am ready to follow. Amen.

Sharing My Blessings

“Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you.” – Deuteronomy 16:17 NASB

Lord, You have blessed me and the works of my hands. I am so grateful to You for all that I have. As You bless me, I am able to bless others in whatever way I can. What a feeling to know that I can help expand Your kingdom! Help me to share my talents, monies, and time, all to Your glory. Amen.
