PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

God’s Provision

Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds. – Philippians 4:6-7

Everything I have comes from you, dear heavenly Father. I am grateful for everything you have provided me. You have given me the ability to work, the ability to love, the ability to worship you, and these are all rich gifts. I praise you for your great kindness to me, now and in the years to come. Amen.

Love the Lord

Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. – Deuteronomy 6:4-5

O God of heaven and earth! You are both the source and the object of my love. Your command to love you is a wonderful one, and I willingly say yes to it with a heart full of gladness today. Please grant that I might always love you wholeheartedly. You are worthy of all my devotion. Amen.
