PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Sacrifice

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. – Psalm 51:17 KJV

Lord, You loved us and gave Your very life for us. How can we conceive of such love, so far beyond our human capacity? You sacrificed everything. You gave up Your place in glory; You faced slander and abuse and death. My thanks seems so inadequate. Amen.

Revival

Won’t you revive us again, so your people can rejoice in you? – Psalm 85:6 NLT

O Lord, send Your Holy Spirit to touch hearts and revive Your people. Bring our hearts back to You. Let this revival begin in my life with repentance and a clean heart, with sincere prayer and a spirit of gratitude. Set me on fire, Lord. Revive my heart and soul that I may be an inspiration to others. Amen.
