PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Waiting on the Lord

Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your hearts; wait, I say, on the LORD! – Psalm 27:14 NKJV

Dear Lord, as I enter into this quiet time with You, calm my mind, body, and spirit. Take my hand and lead me to Your side. I long to feel Your touch, hear Your voice, and see Your face. Whatever comes to me this day, I know You will be with me, as You are now—within me, above me, beside me. Thank You for strengthening my heart. Thank You for giving me the patience to wait on You. Amen.

End of School

This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24 ESV

Lord, the end of May and the beginning of June mark the end of the school year. Thanks for all that has been learned and the teachers who strove to impart their knowledge. May your blessing be upon teachers and students as they go into summer break and enjoy their time away from the classroom. For those students who graduated, please guide them on the next step of their journey. Amen.
