PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Sincerity

Let us feast instead upon the pure bread of honor and sincerity and truth. – 1 Corinthians 5:8 TLB

Dear Lord, sincerity is one of the things that matters most to me when interacting with others. Whether in business matters, friendships, dealings with the medical profession, or in spiritual circles, sincerity makes all the difference. Half-hearted or complacent attitudes or simply going through the motions of caring are not only meaningless but often harmful. Help me give my best in relationships and remember that sincerity is the evidence of my character, my care, and my witness. Amen.

Servanthood

“If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there My servant also will be.” – John 12:26 HCSB

Lord, let me serve You. Give me a bigger heart to serve in more ways. Maybe I can serve food to someone who is hungry or pass along a warm coat to someone who is suffering in the cold. Maybe I can encourage someone who is sick or lend a helping hand to someone overwhelmed by responsibility. I’m glad to give of my money and my time, Lord. I just want to be a servant to others like You were. Amen.
