PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Truth

You are saved by the Spirit that makes you holy and by your faith in the truth. – 2 Thessalonians 2:13 NCV

The truth is very difficult to find these days, Lord. We used to be able to trust what we saw and heard, but technology has blurred every boundary. I am going to pray before I move forward on anything, Lord. I will seek your guidance and direction. Thank You for being a beacon of truth, like a lighthouse on the shore, helping me anchor safely in the harbor rather than going aground on the rocks. Amen.

Trouble

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. – 1 Peter 4:12 NIV

Dear God, I realize that no one in this life is exempt from trouble. My hope rests in Your promise to be with me when things go wrong. Be my way-maker and rescue me when I feel like I’m sinking. Amen.
