PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Repentance

I restore the  crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. – Isaiah 57:15 NLT

Dear Jesus, please do not let my mind and heart become dull to my need for repentance. Quicken my spirit when I’ve made a mistake and need to ask to be forgiven. You forgave me when I committed my life to You, but we both know I will never be perfect even as I strive to be righteous. Give me a ready, repentant, and steadfast heart before You in my daily walk. Amen.

Renewal

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. – Psalm 51:12 KJV

Dear God, it’s impossible to keep up a busy daily schedule, tasks and responsibilities without an occasional time-out. It’s hard for me to slow down and just “be” rather than always doing. Without renewal and rest, I know I’m going to burn out. I can’t pour out to others from an empty vessel. Refresh my weary soul and body as I stop, rest, and wait for You to renew and fill me once again. Amen.
