PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Renewal

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. – Psalm 51:12 KJV

Dear God, it’s impossible to keep up a busy daily schedule, tasks and responsibilities without an occasional time-out. It’s hard for me to slow down and just “be” rather than always doing. Without renewal and rest, I know I’m going to burn out. I can’t pour out to others from an empty vessel. Refresh my weary soul and body as I stop, rest, and wait for You to renew and fill me once again. Amen.

Relationships

All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. – 2 Corinthians 5:18 MSG

Heavenly Father, as time passes, my love and gratitude grow stronger for my family and friends. Thank You for allowing these special people to share my life’s journey. Help me be a heart-tender to them as we share tears and joy, triumphs and struggles. Keep them safe and bless them with good health and well-being. Help me never take relationships for granted, but let me honor them always with my time and devotion. Amen.
