PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Revival

Won’t you revive us again, so your people can rejoice in you? – Psalm 85:6 NLT

O Lord, send Your Holy Spirit to touch hearts and revive Your people. Bring our hearts back to You. Let this revival begin in my life with repentance and a clean heart, with sincere prayer and a spirit of gratitude. Set me on fire, Lord. Revive my heart and soul that I may be an inspiration to others. Amen.

Righteousness

Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor. – Proverbs 21:21 NLT

Heavenly Father, my heart’s desire is to live righteously before You and others. In our current culture, it’s easy to become complacent and compromising in our views. Help me grow in righteousness through my choices and know when to stand up for what is right. Guard my spirit and help me turn away from anything that is not from You. Amen.
