PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Regret

The sadness that is used by God brings a change of heart that leads to salvation—and there is no regret in that! – 2 Corinthians 7:10 GNT

Dear Jesus, regret feels so much like guilt at times. I replay things in my mind, thinking of all the ways I could have done things differently. I waste a lot of time agonizing over the “if’s” and “why’s” of things I’ve done and said. Help me release my regrets and the weight of guilt I’ve carried. I choose to live in this moment and move forward by Your grace. Amen.

Reconciliation

All things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. – 2 Corinthians 5:18 NKJV

Father, my family desperately needs Your help. I can’t remember now where it started, but one disagreement turned into more. Soon it became a swirling whirlpool of hurt and misunderstanding. I ask that You would put out the raging fires of anger and resentment and help us broker a plan for peace that includes apologies spoken, forgiveness given, and relationships healed. Thank You even now for a new era of love and understanding in our family. Amen.
