Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

Peace and Grace

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. – Romans 5:1-2 NKJV

It is my faith in You, Jesus, that keeps me sane and gives me peace. I am eternally grateful for that peace and I thank You. My faith in You justifies me and gives me the grace I need to forgive others. Help me to do that today. Help me to look at those who have wounded me as You look at me—without blame and with love. Keep me in Your hand and give me Your strength as I go through this day. Amen.

Quiet Waters

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters. – Psalm 23:2 NIV

My Shepherd, my Lord, my Savior, lead me beside the still waters. Lie with me in the green pastures. Restore my soul. Lead me down the paths of Your choosing today. With You by my side, I fear no evil. You are my Comfort and my guide. I am happy in Your presence. Your goodness and Your mercy are with me this minute, this hour, and this day. Thank You, Lord, for leading me here and making me whole—for being the Shepherd of my life. Amen.
