PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Relationships

All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. – 2 Corinthians 5:18 MSG

Heavenly Father, as time passes, my love and gratitude grow stronger for my family and friends. Thank You for allowing these special people to share my life’s journey. Help me be a heart-tender to them as we share tears and joy, triumphs and struggles. Keep them safe and bless them with good health and well-being. Help me never take relationships for granted, but let me honor them always with my time and devotion. Amen.

Regret

The sadness that is used by God brings a change of heart that leads to salvation—and there is no regret in that! – 2 Corinthians 7:10 GNT

Dear Jesus, regret feels so much like guilt at times. I replay things in my mind, thinking of all the ways I could have done things differently. I waste a lot of time agonizing over the “if’s” and “why’s” of things I’ve done and said. Help me release my regrets and the weight of guilt I’ve carried. I choose to live in this moment and move forward by Your grace. Amen.
