PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Servanthood

“If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there My servant also will be.” – John 12:26 HCSB

Lord, let me serve You. Give me a bigger heart to serve in more ways. Maybe I can serve food to someone who is hungry or pass along a warm coat to someone who is suffering in the cold. Maybe I can encourage someone who is sick or lend a helping hand to someone overwhelmed by responsibility. I’m glad to give of my money and my time, Lord. I just want to be a servant to others like You were. Amen.

Salvation

When he was made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. – Hebrews 5:9 GNT

Dear Jesus, how do I thank You for loving me enough to die for me? You exchanged Your life for mine and You did it all to set me free and give me the gift of eternal life. Help me share the great joy of salvation with others who need to know the kind of grace and unconditional love You’ve provided for them. Amen.
