PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Gratitude

Since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe. – Hebrews 12:28 NASB

Dear Lord, as I learn the art of gratitude in my daily life, I’m discovering a new kind of power that comes from a grateful perspective. It is giving me a new awareness of every blessing in my life, both great and small. Let me live every moment of every day with gratitude. Amen.

Grace

The LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. – Psalm 84:11 KJV

Lord Jesus, how Your grace precedes, follows, and envelops me. Help me bestow this gift on those I encounter each day—even when they don’t deserve it. After all, I certainly don’t deserve the favor You’ve poured out on me. Let me show grace when someone intrudes on my space or my plans. Help me show grace when someone harms or slanders me. I want to give to others what You’ve given me. Amen.
