PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Mercy

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” – Matthew 5:7 NIV

Lord, Your mercy is everlasting and yet new every day. You are merciful to us in ways we cannot expect or explain. Teach us to show mercy like You do because we know Your definition is not always the same as ours. We see like someone walking in the dark—we feel our way along. Help us, Father. Thank You that Your mercy shines brightest in our lives when we definitely don’t deserve it. Amen.

Missions

“Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all.” – Mark 16:16 MSG

Dear Jesus, help those who risk all and sacrifice their comfort and security for the sake of sharing the Gospel. Protect them, guide them, and let them feel Your presence  as You keep them safely in Your care. Prepare the hearts of all they minister to and help them receive what is poured out through Your Ambassadors of Love. Amen.
