PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Eternal Life

But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. – John 4:14 NIV

Precious Lord, Your gift of eternal life changes the way I look at the trials and griefs I experience in this life. Knowing there’s so much more than this earthly life deepens and expands my vision to eternal hope and purpose. Because of eternity’s promise, I can live with heavenly expectation and joy. Amen.

Enemies

I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. – Psalm 18:3 ESV

Dear God, there are plenty of enemies to contend with in daily life and in today’s society. I may not know how to handle the enemies that come against me on my own, but I know that You do. You are my shield of strength. Teach me to be tolerant of those I disagree with. Show me how to love my enemies, pray for them, and forgive them, just as Jesus did. Amen
