PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Conscience

Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things. – Hebrews 13:18 NASB

Dear God, when it might have been easier to let something that was wrong slide, You quickened my spirit and my conscience to take the high road. I’m so thankful I listened, heeded, and asked for Your guidance instead of relying on my own way of thinking. Thank You for giving me a conscience that helps ensure all will be well in my soul. Amen.

Conflict

Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear; though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident. – Psalm 27:3 NASB

Heavenly Father, I’m in the middle of a conflict that has brought me a lot of strife and regret. I’ve even allowed it to stop the peaceful flow of Your Spirit in me. Help me be still enough to feel Your presence and release anything that is hindering my trust in You. I ask for wisdom and grace as I work to resolve this situation. Amen.
