PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Conflict

Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear; though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident. – Psalm 27:3 NASB

Heavenly Father, I’m in the middle of a conflict that has brought me a lot of strife and regret. I’ve even allowed it to stop the peaceful flow of Your Spirit in me. Help me be still enough to feel Your presence and release anything that is hindering my trust in You. I ask for wisdom and grace as I work to resolve this situation. Amen.

Confidence

Reverence for the LORD gives confidence and security. – Proverbs 14:26 GNT

Heavenly Father, that task You have set before me looks to me like a huge obstacle in my path. I ask You to give me the confidence I need—the confidence that You are guiding and directing, strengthening and inspiring me as I go forward. Amen.
