PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Healing

For you that honor my name, victory will shine like the sun with healing in its rays. – Malachi 4:2 CEV

Lord, You are the Great Physician. You are the one who created us and You know us in ways that no earthly physician possibly could. I look to You for wholeness—healing in my body, mind, soul. Help me as I surrender myself to You and trust You to make me whole. Thank You for Your gift of healing. Amen.

Guilt

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. – Hebrews 10:22 NIV

Father, I am swimming in guilt and it feels like I’m going under for the last time. The current is swift and I am weak. Save me from the horrible power of guilt, whether earned or imagined. I lay my sins and failures at Your feet and, once again, confess my regret and sorrow. Save me, Lord! Amen.
