PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

God’s Protection

Guard me as you would guard your own eyes. Hide me in the shadow of your wings. – Psalm 17:8 NLT

Dear God, I’m aware that the enemy of my soul is constantly waging war against me. I am no match for him and his minions. I often step into a place of fear when I feel the battle waging around me. Remind me daily that You are my shield and my protector. Help me trust You more and stand on Your promise to defend me from my enemies. Amen.

God’s Love

I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever. – Psalm 52:8 NIV

Dear heavenly Father, love is Your specialty. Love is who and what You are. I stand amazed and in awe that You, the King of kings, Lord of lords, and the Great I Am, love me and call me “Beloved.” How do I thank You for Your relentless, constant, and unconditional love that never gives up on me? Use me to pour out on others the love You’ve so graciously poured into me. Amen.
