PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Never Alone

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Joshua 1:5 NIV

Your Word says that You will never leave me, but right now I feel all alone. I am afraid of what lies before me. Help me to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that You are with me. You are my good Shepherd. With You by my side, I need not fear. Fill me with Your presence and Your courage as I greet this day. Amen.

Prayer for Healing

Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. – James 5:14-15 NASB

Lord, I am feeling so poorly. You know what is attacking my body. You can see everything. I ask You in prayer, right now, to fill me with Your healing light. Banish the sickness from my body. Fill me with Your presence. Draw me unto You. Amen.
