PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Fear

Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me. – Psalm 23:4 HCSB

Dear Lord, You tell me in Your Word that I am not to fear because You are with me. You tell me that I shouldn’t be dismayed because You will strengthen me, help me, and uphold me. Show me how to write those words in my heart. Lord, You are the one who rescues me and fights my battles. Replace my fear with faith as I remember who You are and that I belong to You. Amen.

Family

Brothers and sisters, since God has shown us great mercy, I beg you to offer your lives as a living sacrifice to him. Your offering must be only for God and pleasing to him. – Romans 12:1 NCV

Lord, my family is full of needy people. We need You. We need patience, love, faith, hope, and compassion. We need understanding, wisdom, strength, character, and empathy. We need gentleness, self-control, meekness, humility, and temperance in our lives. We all need You. Help us walk with You and improve our character in these days. Lift us higher, Lord. Amen
