PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Family

Brothers and sisters, since God has shown us great mercy, I beg you to offer your lives as a living sacrifice to him. Your offering must be only for God and pleasing to him. – Romans 12:1 NCV

Lord, my family is full of needy people. We need You. We need patience, love, faith, hope, and compassion. We need understanding, wisdom, strength, character, and empathy. We need gentleness, self-control, meekness, humility, and temperance in our lives. We all need You. Help us walk with You and improve our character in these days. Lift us higher, Lord. Amen

Faith

What I am saying is that we can encourage each other by the faith that is ours. – Romans 1:12 CEV

Dear Lord, I admit that my faith is not always strong. If I look at what’s before me, those things that look impossible, my faith feels powerless. Help me remember that You are working out things behind the scenes of my present situation. I cannot see in the natural world what You’re doing, but I’m reminded in Your Word that I will see the evidence that all things are being worked out for my good. Activate and strengthen my faith with the abundance of Your promises. Amen.
