PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Divorce

Jesus answered, “Moses gave you permission to divorce your wives because you are so hard to teach. But it was not like that at the time of creation.” – Matthew 19:8 GNT

Dear God, knowing You are a God of unity, I’m praying for a couple who need a fresh revelation of Your love for them individually and together. Speak life to their marriage and help them see that things have a way of working out if they are willing to work through them with You. Renew their love for each other and give them a renewed hope for restoration. Amen.

Discipleship

Others have a gift for caring for God’s people as a shepherd does his sheep, leading and teaching them in the ways of God. – Ephesians 4:11 TLB

Precious Lord, people cross my path quite often who are in need of spiritual help. Thank You for opening up opportunities for me to mentor those who ask for help and who are seeking more of You and Your light. Make me a good disciple-maker and mentor to those You place in my care. Thank You for trusting me with these hungry hearts. Amen.
