PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Betrayal

It is not a foe who rises up against me—otherwise I would hide from him. But it is you, a man who is my peer, my companion and good friend! – Psalm 55:12-13 HCSB

Father, it’s difficult to believe that someone I trusted so fully has betrayed me. It wouldn’t hurt so much except that he was like a brother, a friend I had faith in. You, Lord, are a friend closer than a brother! Thank You for comforting me and leading me to a place of forgiveness. I don’t ever want bitterness to grow in my heart. Amen.

Attitude

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had. – Romans 15:5 NIV

Father, thank You for being my “attitude changer.” Attitude has such an impact on my life. I want to be healthy in mind and spirit and to be a cheerful, happy person who is capable of bringing joy to the lives of others. Keep working with me, Lord. Amen.
