PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Darkness

Answer me quickly, LORD; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me. – Psalm 143:7 NIV

Sweet Lord, Your light never fails to shine in my darkness. Your love always breaks through my despair. Your faithfulness always dispels my fears. No matter where I find myself, You are there with me. Thank You for Your constant presence. Amen.

Deliverance

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. – Psalm 32:7 NIV

Father, I think all of us need deliverance from something: sin, sickness, debt, problems, our pasts, bitterness, depression, fears. Whatever it is, Lord, You are the one l will look to. You are the one I know I can trust to be there, ready to help and deliver me. Amen.
