PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Faith

What I am saying is that we can encourage each other by the faith that is ours. – Romans 1:12 CEV

Dear Lord, I admit that my faith is not always strong. If I look at what’s before me, those things that look impossible, my faith feels powerless. Help me remember that You are working out things behind the scenes of my present situation. I cannot see in the natural world what You’re doing, but I’m reminded in Your Word that I will see the evidence that all things are being worked out for my good. Activate and strengthen my faith with the abundance of Your promises. Amen.

Facing Death

The law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. – Romans 8:2 ESV

Gracious Lord, my loved one is facing the final transition from this life into the next. Help me remember that when she takes her last breath on this earth, she will instantly breathe her first breath in heaven. Thank You for Your promise that death is a comma and not a period. Amen.
