PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Facing Death

The law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. – Romans 8:2 ESV

Gracious Lord, my loved one is facing the final transition from this life into the next. Help me remember that when she takes her last breath on this earth, she will instantly breathe her first breath in heaven. Thank You for Your promise that death is a comma and not a period. Amen.

Expectations

Shall we not expect far greater glory in these days when the Holy Spirit is giving life? – 2 Corinthians 3:8 TLB

Dear Jesus, sometimes I’m afraid to believe in good outcomes, better days, and real solutions. If my expectations don’t happen as I hope they will, I desperately need the peace and assurance that You still have a plan for my situation. Jesus, in all circumstances of my life, help me remember that my greatest hope and expectation will always be found in You. Amen.
