PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Prayer for Revival

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Lord, we pray for the Holy Spirit’s power to come in a mighty way to each individual who attends our church. As we find personal revival, may it grow to light a mighty fire of passion for God in our church—then spread to our community, our nation, and our world. Please give us a heart to pray for revival and hands that put our faith into action with service to other.

A New Attitude

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” – Hebrews 13:5

Lord, at times I’m so affected by this world—I am tempted to want what others have or long for things that I see on television. Change my attitude, Lord. Help me to understand that acquiring more “stuff” won’t necessarily make me happy. Being filled with You brings true contentment. Teach me the joy and lasting satisfaction that comes from looking solely to You, Lord.
