PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Assurance

ALet us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. – Hebrews 10:22 NASB

Dear Jesus, give me a strong faith. The kind of childlike faith that believes in quiet wonder that You know my needs and hear my prayers. When answers don’t come and mountains don’t move, impress on my heart the assurance that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf in ways I can’t comprehend. Amen.

Anxiety

“Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” – Matthew 6:25 ESV

Heavenly Father, giving You my worries and letting go of stress is easier said than done. As I take this step of faith and ask You to calm my anxious heart, help me take a deep breath and fully release every fear and worry to You. Be my resting place, Father, and help me remember that You are so much more than enough. Amen.
