PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Challenges

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. – James 1:2-3 MSG

Dear Lord, sometimes the challenges of life cause me to feel like I’m living from one emergency to the next. I know it’s not Your will for me to be exhausted, emotionally frazzled, or defeated. Help me face my challenges by looking to You for real answers. I’m standing firm in the belief that in seeking You, I will find You—my advocate, my comfort, and my constant hope. Amen.

Cares

When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. – Psalm 94:19 ESV

Dear Father, I’m reminded in Your Word that You will perfect everything that concerns me. That’s a big and merciful promise, Father. It’s a promise that causes me to pause, breathe deeply, and release the heaviness of my cares to You. Loving Father, thank You for caring for me so tenderly and completely. Amen.
