PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

On Eagles’ Wings

“I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.” – Exodus 19:4 NIV

God, I need You to lift me up, above all these problems, above my circumstances, above my helplessness. Carry me off to Your place in the heavenlies, where I can find my breath, where I can sit with You, where I can find the peace of Your presence. You alone can carry me through this. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Amen.

Contentment

I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. – Philippians 4:11 KJV

Lord, there is nothing better than being in Your presence, seeking Your face. I thank You for all my blessings, in good times and bad. I thank You for Your Son, who died on that cross so that I could live forever. I thank You for Your Word and the treasures I find there. I go forth in this day, with the power of contentment firmly in my heart. Lead me where You will. I am ready to follow. Amen.
