PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

My Church Family

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. – Galatians 6:10

Lord, I thank You for my church and the people there, my brothers and sisters in Christ. May we grow together as a family of believers as we learn to love and serve each other. Although we are different, help us to respect each other and seek to build up one another. It is a blessing to have people to experience life with, both the good times and the bad. May we be better connected as we all learn to know You and love You more.

Spending Wisely

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. – 1 Timothy 6:10

Lord, You are the One who gives wisdom—and I ask that You would give me the discernment I need to spend money sensibly. I need money to pay my bills and meet my obligations. I know from Your Word that money itself is not evil: it’s the love of money—greed—that makes us wander from the faith. Help me to spend the money You provide not in self-indulgence but in good judgment.
