PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Guided by the Holy Spirit

Let the Holy Spirit lead you in each step. . . .If the Holy Spirit is living in us, let us be led by Him in all things. – Galatians 5:16, 25 NLV

I understand, Lord, that the Holy Spirit is just waiting to lead me. Open my mind and heart and ears to His voice today. Still the constant chatter in my head that keeps reminding me of all the tasks I need to get done today. Give me the plan You have already laid out for my life. Shape me into the person You want me to be so that I can do what You have created me to do. Lead me step by step, Lord. I commit my way and my plans to Your purpose. Amen.

Unceasing Prayer

Prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. – Acts 12:5 KJV

God, I remember how Peter’s friends prayed for him while he was in prison, how they constantly and consistently interceded for him. You sent an angel to visit Peter and his chains fell off! Help me to be such a prayer warrior today. Lord, tell me whom to pray for this morning. And may such deliverance come to that person according to Your will. Amen.
