PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Joyful in Hope

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. – Romans 12:12

Lord, I thank You for giving me hope. I don’t know where I would be without You. I don’t know what the future holds, but You give me the ability to be joyful even while I wait—even when I don’t understand. Please help me to have a positive attitude and live with a mindset of patience and courage as You work Your will in my life. Help me to remain faithful in prayer, Lord, and fully committed to You.

Stress-Free

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7

Lord, help me to find relief from stress in my life. I need to value rest and make time to relax—and I need Your power to do so. I cast my cares on You, my burden bearer. Help me to deal with the toxic, unhealthy relationships in my life. Give me the strength to say no when I need better emotional boundaries. And please help me find joy again in the things I like to do—unwinding with music, taking a walk, calling a friend, or learning a new hobby. Calm me and renew me, Lord.
