Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

It was through reading the Scripture that I came to realize that I could never find God’s favor by trying—and failing—to obey the laws. I came to realize that acceptance with God comes by believing in Christ. – Galatians 1:19 TLB

Heavenly Father, I have questions I realize there will never be answers to on this side of heaven. I struggle to understand why You’ve allowed the detours in my life that have caused such pain. I realize Your peace is what I need to accept in this season of change. Thank You for walking with me as I seek Your presence and Your peace. Amen.

God’s Will

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. – Colossians 1:9

Lord, I want to know Your will for my life. Enlighten me with wisdom, discernment, and understanding. I need to know when to stay and when to go, when to speak and when to close my mouth. Fill me with the knowledge of Your best for me—right now and in the future. As I seek to follow You, help me to obediently and joyfully accept Your answers.
