PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

The Right Focus

We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You. – 2 Chronicles 20:12 AMP

Help me, Lord, to focus on You in all I say and do, in every decision I make, and in every direction I take. Help me to make the most of each opportunity. My life’s aim is to serve, obey and seek You. I do not know what to do, but my eyes, Lord, are upon Your heavenly face, and in this I rejoice! Amen.

Open Eyes, Endless Hope

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. – Ephesians 1:18-19 NASB

Each morning You open the eyes of my heart and fill me with Your awesome resurrection power. As I seek Your face, I am filled with endless hope. Enlighten my mind, heart, and spirit as we spend these moments together. I await Your words, dear Lord. Speak to me now! Amen.
