PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Waiting on the Lord

Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD! – Psalm 17:14 NKJV
Dear Lord, as I enter into this quiet time with You, calm my mind, body, and spirit. I long to feel Your touch, heart Your voice, and see Your face. Whatever comes to me this day, I know You will be with me, as You are now—within me, above me, besides me. Thank You for strengthening my heart. Thank You for giving me the patience to wait on You. Amen.

Lifelong Praise

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. – Psalm 104:33 KJV

At this moment and throughout this day, I sing my praises to You, O God. Music is one of Your gifts and I thank You for it. As my spirit in song rises to join with Yours, may I continually be reminded of all You are, of all You have done, and all You will do. Amen.
