PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Open Eyes, Endless Hope

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. – Ephesians 1:18-19 NASB

Each morning You open the eyes of my heart and fill me with Your awesome resurrection power. As I seek Your face, I am filled with endless hope. Enlighten my mind, heart, and spirit as we spend these moments together. I await Your words, dear Lord. Speak to me now! Amen.

Peace Like a River

“I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to do well, Who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had listened to My Laws! Then your peace would have been like a river and your right-standing with God would have been like the waves of the sea.” – Isaiah 48:17-18NLV

Lord, give me direction this day. Teach me what is best for me and direct me in the way I should go. When I pay attention to Your commands, You give me peace like a river. It is to Your living water that I run. Help me, Lord, to obey You in all I say and do. Give me the wisdom to abide in Your Word, all to Your glory! Amen.
