Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

Morning Meditation

Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to you I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. . . .Make Your way straight before my face. – Psalm 5:2-3, 8 NKJV
You defend me, You love me, You lead me. That is too wonderful for words! This morning in Your presence, I rejoice. This morning, I direct my prayers to You, knowing that You will hear my words and interpret my groans. I am lifting my voice to You, Lord, and patiently await Your instructions. Amen.

Meet the Challenge

“Be bold and diligent. And GOD be with you as you do your best.” – 2 Chronicles 19:11 MSG
I’m working as hard as I can to meet my challenge. I want to do my best, knowing that You are with me all the way. Help me to be brave. Help me not to panic. Neither fear nor anxiety is of You. I need to focus on You, to build up my faith and my confidence. Help me not to deviate from my course. I am here, ready to listen to Your voice. Lead me, gentle shepherd, where You want me to go. Amen.
