PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Firstfruits for God

Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will be bursting with wine. – Proverbs 3:9-10 ESV   Another paycheck! Thank You, God, for giving me the strength to work each day. Thank You for the money I hold in my hand. Help me to remember that this is not my money, but Yours. I come to You this morning, asking You to tell me how much You want me to give to You and, if so directed,  to others. I want to bless Your church, Your ministries, Your people, as You have so richly blessed me. Tell me, Lord, what You would have me give and I will do so  knowing that You will bless me. Amen.   [from Power Prayers to Start Your Day by Donna Maltese]

An Awesome God

God’s blessing makes life rich; nothing we do can improve on God. – Proverbs 10:22 The Message   It is Your presence, Your blessings, Your love that makes my life so rich and fulfilling. I am not worried about what others have and I have not. I am full of joy for what I do have—mainly You! There is nothing greater than You, Lord. You are an awesome God. I praise You for what You are doing in my life, for making me rich beyond my wildest dreams as I live and breathe in You. Amen.   [from Power Prayers to Start Your Day by Donna Maltese]
