Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

One Body

We are members one of another. – Ephesians 4:25 KJV
When one of us is suffering, Lord, we all hurt. Some of my church are grieving, some are burned out, some are of ill health and unsound mind, and some are in financial distress. Lord, bless the people who make up the body of my church. Give them love and comfort. Make this body a unified body strengthened by Your Spirit and Your love, gathered to meet in Your presence, formed to do Your will. Amen.

Lifted out of the Pit

“’Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’” – Isaiah 41:10 NASB
I am in such turmoil. I don’t understand what’s happening or why. All I know is that I am stressed out and I can’t seem to get a handle on anything anymore. Lift me up out of this pit, Lord. I trust in You. I know that You can uphold me, that You can help me rise above my troubles, for You have overcome this world. I know that I am precious in Your sight and You will not allow evil to harm me. Save me, lift me, meet me now! Amen.
