Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

Consistent Love

A friend loveth at all times. – Proverbs 17:17 KJV
All I need is love! That’s all I need from my friends right now—people who care about me, who want what’s best for me, who will never turn away. But when I look at my life, I wonder if I’ve always loved my friends. I mean that constant, undying, unyielding love—the kind that You show for us. Forgive me, Lord, for the times I have fallen short–for times that I was so caught up in the busyness of my day that I did not show love to a friend who really needed it. Lord, fill me and my friends with your love and help us to let it flow freely to all we meet. Amen.

I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. – Philippians 4:11 KJV
Lord, I am so happy just as I am. There is nothing better than being in Your presence, seeking Your face. I thank You for all my blessings, in good times and bad. I thank You for Your Son, who died on the cross so that I could live forever. I thank You for Your Word and the treasures I find there. I go forth in this day, with the power of contentment firmly in my heart. Lead me where You will. I am ready to follow. Amen.
