PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can fill out the form below or contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Spirit-Filled

“I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, understanding, much learning, and all kinds of special work.” – Exodus 31:3 NLV

Lord, You have filled me with Your Spirit. I have been given wisdom, understanding, education, and talent for many lines of work. Show me how I can use my knowledge, understanding, and abilities to do the work You have set out for me. Show me the paths You want me to take. What do You want me to do with my hands, my life, my gifts? They are all from You, the One I want to serve. Amen.

Jesus in Our Midst

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them. – Matthew 18:20 KJV

Lord, it’s so amazing that when we come together with other believers—even when just two believers are together—You show up! You are in the midst of us! You love us that much. Be with Your body of believers today, Lord, whenever and wherever they are meeting around the world. Show them Your power and Your presence. Answer their prayers today, Lord. All to Your glory! Amen.
