Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!

My Desires

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. – Psalm 37:4 KJV
Lord, as I come before You today, delighting in Your presence, I ask for Your divine guidance. You know the desires of my heart—to know, love, and live in You. Show me the way You want me to go. Give me the courage to face the future, knowing that because You go before me, I need never be afraid. Amen.

Walking in God’s Wisdom

Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. – Proverbs 4:10-13 NIV
Lord, I want to do what You have created me to do. I come to You today, seeking Your direction for my life. I have my own ideas of how You want me to serve You, to enlarge Your kingdom here on earth, to provide for myself, my family, and my church. But I need Your wisdom. Which route should I take; When shall I begin? How shall I go? Lead me, Lord, into the path You have charted for my life. Amen.
