PRAYER

Prayer opens our hearts to the power of God’s love. Prayer is how we become channels of God’s love for the world. Prayer is a gift from God – He wants to hear from us!
Pray for Others – If you would like to be part of Christ Church’s prayer chain and receive emails with prayer requests from our congregation, please contact Karen Smith.

The Prayer Tree is located in The Commons and a part of the Prayer Ministry. Complete a prayer “leaf” and it will be prayed over by the church.

To submit a prayer request, you may send an email message to prayer@cc-um.org. If you would prefer a more private prayer request, you can contact Dr. Marc Donaldson.

Crying Out for Healing

So Moses cried out to the LORD, “O God, please heal her!” – Numbers 12:13 NIV

Lord, when Miriam had leprosy, her brother cried out for her healing. I come to You this morning, crying out for You to heal my loved one. She is in so much pain. She needs your comfort, strength, love, and grace. Dear Lord, touch her! Allow her to feel Your presence. Immerse her in Your healing light. Amen

Use Me, Lord

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. – 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 NIV

Give me the humility You had when You washed the feet of the disciples. I am willing to take on whatever task—high or low—that You have for me. Grant me the spirit of cooperation as I work with others. Show me how to use my gift in new and different ways. I serve to bring glory and honor and blessing to You. Amen.
